Swedish Contura has won the internationally renowned iF Design Award. The award goes to the Contura 300, a modern stove that combines excellent design with Swedish engineering achievement.

Contura is a Swedish stove manufacturer based in the heart of rural southern Sweden. Contura has a long-standing partnership with Myra Design which is responsible for the design of the Contura 300.
The iF Design Award is one of the most coveted international design prizes and is presented by the world’s oldest independent design institution, International Forum Design GmbH. Contura 300 wins the award in the category of product design. The panel was comprised of 67 judges and the Contura stove was competing against 6,400 other products from 50 countries.
Contura 300 is a state-of-the-art, cube-shaped wood burning stove with a solid and innovative interior where performance and design go hand in hand. It can be modified to suit all tastes and homes, provides maximum fire visibility and its log box can be placed either side of the fireplace. The surround is available in black or white and the door in cast-iron or glass. It also comes with a range of optional extras, such as heat-retaining artstone and soapstone, a hotplate and a drawer.
